Washington-Reid became a preschool in 2018 with five general education preschool classes and two special education preschool classes. In 2019, Washington-Reid became fully occupied as a Preschool Center housing five general education preschool programs that operate under the Virginia Preschool Initiative (VPI) and 11 half-day special education classes with resource teachers based out of Washington-Reid to serve special education preschool students in the community.

What Makes Our School Unique
We are the only Preschool Center in Prince William County Schools that serves only preschool students within our building. Washington-Reid housesthree preschool programs, theVirginia Preschool Initiative (VPI), Early Head Start, and students with Developmental Delays that require services under Special Education. Washington-Reid is a nurturing and supportive environment for young children and families. The staff is highly knowledgeable in the areas of child development and special education, and is committed to helping each child maximize his or her potential in both school and the home environments.
