Virginia Preschool Initiative Programs (VPI)

The VPI classes attend school from 8:50 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Special Education Programs

Morning Class-based students (2 years old) attend school on Tuesday and Thursday or Wednesday and Friday from 9:20am - 12:40pm

Morning Class-based students (3 to 5 years old) attend school daily from 9:20am - 12:40pm

Afternoon Class-based students (3 to 5 years old) attend school daily from 12:40pm - 4pm

Resource students receive home visits per IEP specification. The day(s) and time(s) will be coordinated between the teacher and parents.

Washington-Reid follows the PWCS calendar with regard to holiday closings, closings for teacher professional development days, and school closings due to inclement weather.
