Welcome to our class! We are located in room 106. I am delighted to be your child's teacher this year. I have two wonderful TA's, Nancy Gennaro and Josselyn Preza, who will be working alongside me this year. Washington Reid also has a floating TA, Ms. Theresa, who will be in our classroom daily for part of the class morning.

To tell you a little about me, I am in my 17th year with PWCS as a special education teacher. I am excited to be a part of starting Washington Reid as a preschool center in PWCS! Previously, I was at Woodbine Preschool for 13 years and Neabsco Elementary prior to that.

Personally, I am married and have two children, Gabby, who is 11 years old, and Elijah, who is almost 7 and in first grade. Not only am I a special education teacher, but I have a child with special needs. Through this experience, I now understand the unique challenges that raising and teaching children with special needs brings.

I am here to serve as a resource to all families and want to tell you that as your child's first teachers, you are the expert on your child. I bring a wealth of education and training and will share my knowledge with you as we work together for the benefit of your child.

I hope everyone is safe given the current climate in our area. Please keep me updated on how I could help you during this time. Each family has received suggestions on ways you could work with your child at home if you so wish. Please keep in touch and use the "useful links" tab on the left hand side for some activities that you could enjoy with your child at home.
